The Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado Foundation and the Air Academy Federal Credit Union Foundation hosted their annual "Going for the Green" Golf Classic. Friday, June 12, 2009.
The first place team was the infamous Colorado Springs Business Journal golfers. Second place was Security Service Federal Credit Union and third place was the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce.
Terry Ortega won the ladies' longest drive contest. The men's longest drive was by Curt Borland, Robert Jones got closest to the pin and longest putt was Steve Byer.
The bear spotted on the course left all golfers intact so "it was a good day."
All money raised will be used to support the educational missions of both foundations.
